This is a sample of the
Blog Discussion Lead Post, the 250-word one. Let’s say I am writing about how
Ben Affleck would make an amazing Batman. Then I would just continue writing
this blog entry as such, taking into consideration citations and the works cited.
Ben
Affleck would make an amazing Batman.
Sure, people poke fun of him for destroying Daredevil, but that was in
2003, a whole ten years ago. His more
recent work speaks to his growth as an author.
He even recently won an Academy award.
Granted, this award is not necessarily for acting, but his acting
contributed to how good the movie is.
Besides, there are other movies where he both directed and acted that
are amazing like Gone Baby Gone and The Town in addition to Argo.
I
also found an amazing article online about his amazing performance as George
Reeves, the actor who played the 1940s Superman. He describes the character Affleck plays as
one “burdened with his alter ego, who is tortured by it, and unable to escape
it, is a very powerful one” (Garcia). The
famous coic book author and riector, Kevin Smith even attested to how brilliant
this casting is, predicting that it will be the first $2 Billion grossing film (Smith). He also attested to the fact that
Affleck is a Comic book fan who would take this role seriously and not just
phone the performance in like so many mainstream actor starring in superhero
movies.
What
do you guys think?
